There are many theatre groups in the area; we did not want to
create another group, but create something different and unique,
a theatre company that not only
provides quality entertainment for the community, but also an educational environment.

Auditions
Tentatively scheduled for:
June 1st 2-5pm & June 5th from 6:30-9pm
Ten nameless characters pair up in ten
different scenes of sexual pleasure and/or
despair. One character from each scene moves
on to the next, seemingly dumping his or her
old partner in favor of new prey. The play
begins in 1900 with a prostitute soliciting an
unwilling soldier: the next scene involves the
soldier, afraid of dying in war, tussling with
a sympathetic nurse. The nurse then dominates
a college boy who is in the midst of an affair
with a young wife, whose husband makes a vain
attempt to trick a gorgeous boy hustler called
the young thing into a physical relationship
aboard the doomed Titanic. The young thing
escapes, only to be lured home by a bisexual
writer, whose actress girlfriend is involved
in an affair with a respected senator.
Finally, the circle of lovers closes where it
all began, with the senator seeking a
prostitute who he desperately wishes he could
love. A tableau begins forming in the
background, with every couple singing "Hello,
Again" in an emotional recognition of love's
inescapable pull.

scripts by local writers, as well as original
and unique scripts.

Track
We welcome
youth of all levels to audition with a
non-competitive approach for our main-stage
musicals. All who audition will be cast in the
ensemble, if not a larger role; they will get
the experience they need while learning about
performing. We also offer youth straight
shows, which are competitively cast.

Track
Given that many
individuals like to stay loyal to a given
group, we would like to prepare individuals
from the youth track to either work with other
area theatre groups, or stay involved with BFF.
This is done via our adult track, which
produces small but competitive musicals and
non-musicals.

Stage Fright?
We have experienced actors, choreographers,
directors, stage managers, lighting designers,
costume designers, etc. who are more than
willing to apprentice and teach individuals.
Also, all are welcome to our monthly board
meetings to learn about productions,
budgeting, and the business side of theatre,
including selection of shows the group will
produce. We have high school students on our
Board of Directors, and offer student-directed
one-act plays (mentored by experienced
directors. Whatever they desire, we want to
make happen.
